We are currently looking for strong & experienced FOH/BOH who are team-oriented and who are willing to learn & grow. Open positions include: servers, hosts, food runners, bussers & dishwashers. Join our team and work in a fun, exciting, fast paced, creative Mexican kitchen serving quality food located in the hip River North (RiNo) neighborhood.
Full-Time and part-time positions are available, depending on the position. Must be available to work weekends and evenings with some later nights, as needed.

Comida’s servers work hard, love serving people, and understand the importance of blending the two with a great attitude. In addition, a server is simply the title, so you are expected to run food, bus tables, and seat our guests when and if the opportunity calls.
As servers, you are responsible for guiding and educating guests around Comida’s concept, so you must have a willingness to learn and grow while working.
Knowing & understanding the importance of service AND hospitality is a plus.
Must be able to communicate effectively, think strategically, and collaborate closely with coworkers, while anticipating guests needs. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure are crucial due to the high volume of our restaurant.
This is a fun, collaborative work environment where ideas are welcome and respect of Comida’s concept and one another is a must.
Hosts are the first and last people that guests see, so an upbeat, professional, friendly, and accommodating attitude are an absolute must. Hosts are responsible for taking reservations, setting up tables, supporting servers during service by bussing, replenishing water, providing plates, silverware, etc.,and managing the flow of guests while monitoring the table rotation, taking, delivering, and closing out to-go orders.
This is a team environment so the willingness to help where help is needed is a must. Other responsibilities may apply.

At Comida, we sell a lot of tacos. It is the responsibility of the food runners to perform quality control by matching dishes with tickets and making sure that plates are neat and presentable for the guests. They also deliver food to tables and educate guests about their selections.
Front of House restaurant experience preferred. Food runners must be friendly, confident, knowledgeable, and have strong communication skills.Due to the high volume of our restaurant, the abilities to multi-task and to work alongside Bussers is a must.
Bussers keep the dining room running and without them, restaurants could not function. It is the responsibility of the bussers to clean tables, make sure the server stations are stocked, and support the servers and bartenders in a variety of ways.
Front of House restaurant experience preferred. Bussers must be organized, motivated, and have a keen eye for details. Due to the high volume of our restaurant, the abilities to multi-task and to work under pressure are crucial.

A dishwasher’s responsibilities include washing and putting away dishes, cleaning projects, and some basic prep work. The ideal candidate would be hard working, dependable, and easy to work with.
A line cook sets up and closes down the kitchen, strictly adheres to health department regulations, completes a variety of cleaning tasks, and prepares food to the chef’s exact specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and to our food and labor goals, can work cooperatively with a group of people, and can ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion.
This position supports the preparation of meals by chopping vegetables, preparing and cooking meats, grating cheese, making salsas and other side dishes, among many other duties. Although this role generally does not include any line production duties, it provides the ideal opportunity to develop many other types of skills essential to becoming a chef.Such skills include proficiently being able to utilize a wide range of kitchen tools and utensils, include knives and mandolins. The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, can self-motivate, is a good listener and can follow directions, and is able to work both independently and with others.
